An exception would be if that very common phrase happened to be a well-known trademark used by an equally well-known company.

Using hypens in your domain name can help in terms of visual recognition.

That's especially true when your domain name consists of several, preferably short, words.

At a glance, many people would not recognize the domain name readthisasfastasyoucan.com as quickly as read-this-as-fast-as-you-can.com.
